Every student admitted to the College of Law has the ability to succeed in law school. The College of Law’s Academic Success Program is designed to help first-year law students learn the skills they need to be successful in law school. In the fall ASP is available to help all new students enhance their reasoning and analytical skills and study skills. When exams are close, ASP prepares students to study for and write essay and multiple choice exams. In the spring, ASP focuses on those students who performed below expectations during the first semester. ASP faculty work one-on-one with these students on strategies for improving their academic performance.
