University of Cincinnati College of Law students are competitive at the national level. For example, the Class of 2011 has a LSAT of 162 and a GPA of 3.81 (75th Percentile). In this year’s entering class 45% are women, 17% are minorities and 35% are nonresidents. Whether it is externing at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, working at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia or providing volunteer assistance to immigrant workers, our students routinely gain practical experience through public service giving them outstanding real-world experience that they can use in any legal setting.
Throughout our 175-year history, graduates have been leaders of the bench and bar, served in senior governmental positions, been active in the public service community, and succeeded in business, academia and countless other fields. Notably, within the past four years our graduates have also worked as Skadden and Equal Justice Works Fellows, and were selected as Presidential Management Fellows, serving as leaders and policy managers in the U.S. government.
